Homebrew Cheat files doesn't work for Gambette

I'm trying to cheat Pokemon Blue, and I've been looking all over the internet after cheatfiles for the Gambette emulator, but they don't seem to work. (I use via RetroArch.) I've tried Gameshark, Game Genie and some random codes from GameHacking org. I have also tried searching for cheats inside of the emulator itself. If you need to know my 3ds-type it is and old version. I can enable them but they don't do anything in the game. I'm so desperate that I created a GbaTemp account just to ask for help.

    Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
