Hacking Cheat code editor

The problem is (obviously) that the XML file you downloaded is not written in the format that the Cheat Code Editor recognizes. To fix it, you may need to go through the file and correct errors, such as improper placement of tags. I remember reading about XML format errors and how to fix them on some website, but I can't remember which one...

I tried that. I still get the error. Any other suggestions?

My testing indicates that these things can cause problems:
  • Not having "" line.
  • Not having a list name. (A "" tag directly inside the "", and being the first element.)
  • Having a "" tag with a number other than 0 or 1.
  • Having a code that starts with "master", but is not named "(M)".
  • Having a code that starts with "on" or "always_on".
My guess is there are more. Probably XML comments will cause errors.

I mean, it is WAY too picky. All of the things listed above that it does not accept are perfectly valid in ARDS xml files, but
the R4 cheat code editor does not seem to accept any of them.
