Hacking Cheat code database problem

I downloaded a cheat database that was completely in Japanese and put it in my cheat folder but when i load the cheats it comes up as random Japanese characters
is there something wrong with the encoding?

Did you download it from here -> http://cheats.gbatemp.net or http://cheats.gbatemp.net/Temp/ ???

If you use usrcheat.dat from these sources you will get FULL ENGLISH cheat DB.. (tested and no problem)

the problem is that this cheat database has games and cheats that aren't added in those databases and I kind of don't want to translate all those games and cheats so they will show up
I want them just to work in their original language so i don't have to do any of that

i want to find out if it is my computer that makes the database language mess up or the acekard

the problem isn't that it is japanese it is that the when i load it in the database
it screws up and shows random letters instead of what it is supposed to show

How is anyone meant to know unless you post a link to this Japanese cheat file you downloaded? People aren't psychic you know..

Like I said before the problem isn't that it is Japanese
It is that I don't know if my acekard scrambles the words because the acekard can not read cheat databases in Japanese or if my computer is the problem
