well i just picked up a used psp slim from ebgames today ($200!) got home, flashed it. only to find the original battery is dead. so i plug in the charger, plug it into the psp. no orange lite..... alright i try another power point. still not working, so i look at the charger. the freaking input cord is wrong. on the ac adaptor says input needs to be 100v - 240v and 0.3 ampheres. the input cord is 250v and 2.5 ampheres >_

what do you mean "input cord"?? the cord plugging into the power brick does not matter...if it fits, it works...

You can only USB charge a PSP when it is turned on.
PSP Phat cannot be charged with USB. (I know you have a Slim, just saying.)

I think You will need a new charger.
Useful to have, anyways.

You bought your new PSP for $170 in Australia?

That's all, just an oversight... the OP is in Australia, not the U.S.

in australia. the land of overpriced electronics. brand new psp retail for 300AUD (with todays crappy exchange rate, around 200USD new). so for 200AUD it was a bargain (around 130USD)
