I'm planning to remove HBC 1.1.2 in favor of HBC 1.1.3 a.k.a OHBC. If anyone can help me remove HBC and give me a WAD for OHBC that would be nice.

what? just update in app... it should do so auto... it overwrites the original version...
1.1.3 is not available via autoupdate (in fact it doesn't even have an installer to be run)

Install new one via any wad manager (newest and recommended: "Some Yawmm Mod"), remove the old one via any method (system settings, AnyTitle Deleter Mod, nand backup + showmiiwads + nand restore :P , etc)

Just asking, but ShowMiiNAND can edit NAND Backups without extracting and if then can it make a NAND backup using an extracted NAND backup folder?
Also, WiiModLite has a WAD Manager feature good enough for me.

my bad, didn't see that it's the opensource release... it only seems to help on WiiU systems though... install the new wad file of the new channel first, then start the wad file of last hbc to use uninstall in wad manager or use Any title Deleter (mod/DB, don't remember wich one is most up to date).
this could mean it to your wii(U) will crash, but restart should do fine...
you could uninstall via same way you installed it original (exploit and HBC installer), and create your own HBCO installer bin file.

I think important permissions might be lost if you do that, I don't remember if the Wii FS uses permissions.
Other than that, it should just be a matter of replacing all the files in a NAND backup with the extracted ones.

the new one doesn't install in the same spot, so it doesn't override anything, it's based on the opensource release of HBC, but forked to work on real HW. should have all permissions set right when installed, only, installing HBCO will not replace HBC, HBC installer was in a bin file if i'm not mistaken, HBCO is in wad format.
