Hacking Changing Game Icons On G6 Lite

hmm.. its a little strange becuase i wonder how then people make these icons in the first place for them to be shown on that ds menu..

I believe the G6 team make them themselves and they are supplied as part of the U-Disk Manager software.

.ico files are also used for webpage icons (some browsers display them next to the url and most will show them next to a saved favorite).

I don't think the G6 .ico files are the same format as Windows .ico file - they just happen to be using the same extension.

Presumably the G6 team have their own proprietory software to make their .ico files. It would be nice if they could share it. I imagine someone will be able to reverse engineer the format, though.

the loader software doesn't store DS icon files, it extracts them, then works its magic on them to make them only g6-readable
