is it possible to change/spoof your ds mac address

why would you want to do that?

captive portals and mac address restriction lists that i cant change ect.

if you've got a captive portal type thing, where you log on with your laptop first? it would be much simpler to change the mac address of your laptop to match your DS, authenticate with the laptop, turn it off, then turn on the DS.

If you really need to change your mac address:
1. MAC address is stored in firmware
2. There is info on the net how to change firmware settings from homebrew
3. There is info on the net on how to write your own homebrew

you should be able to put those together to write a simple mac-address changing app. make sure you have flashme installed though, so you can recover incase you accidently brick yourself.
