Hacking Change game to a d2x cIOS first!

It was working fine before!

Gamecube games work (the only thing I really need) and wads installed on the wii work as well but every time i try to run a wii game this happens

Things that could have triggered this:

• Installed Youtube from the store
• Installed DKC 2 from WAD

Update the loader to latest beta.

What caused that :
- You downloaded the loader from a random source (youtube tutorials?), clicked a random link from an old post on the forum, etc.
or
- You downloaded the loader from the official website from a Beta release month ago but didn't update it anymore since then.

You are using an old beta release (not a stable one) from January 2013. When in beta cycle, things happen, and this bug was fixed quickly months ago.

when I open CFG USB it says 249 is a stub or something so I don't think it's the loader although it could be I'm not doubting you

If CFG Loader says "249 is a stub" it means that your slot 249 has NO DATA at all. (it's what Nintendo do to delete an IOS, it replace it with dummy files instead of deleting the IOS slot).
So you are not using cIOS249, which is the default IOS slot used by USBLoaders.

USBLoaderGX reverts back to the first custom IOS he found starting from slot 200 to 255, which is IOS222 (Hermes cIOS, probably v4) which doesn't have access to NAND.

What you need to do:
Install custom IOS in slot 249 and slot 250.
You can do that with different tools, it could be Modmii+wad manager, or using the cIOS installer.

What you need to install:
In slot 249 : d2x v10 based on IOS 56
in slot 250 : d2x v10 based on IOS 57


What caused the cIOS to be replaced:
If you didn't accept any update from a game or the console, it's probably the Youtube channel you installed from Eshop which replaced the IOS slots. (but I don't remember anyone telling eShop replacing IOS).
