Hacking CFW and SDF Question

I just finished setting up CFW on my 3DS and was able to install BigBlueMenu. Is it possible to also install Savedatafiler? If yes, how? Thoughts appreciated

Same way you installed BigBlueMenu. Get a .cia version of savedatafiler and then use BigBlueMenu/Devmenu to install it.

I installed BBM through the run.bat wifi thing. Do I do that again?

You don't need to use ctrclient anymore if you already have BBM installed.

Just run the CFW normally (without holding L) run, BBM and install CIAs present on the SD card.

What I am trying to do is take the GW save I have for Zelda Majora's Mask and transfer/import it to the retail cart. Is that possible to do?

Also, is it normal for CFW to not always boot?

Every time I try to run SDF, I keep getting SD card removed error... Is there a fix for this?

u put dev menu.3ds on ur microsd card and pout it in ur gateway
and put savedatafiller.cia on ur sd card

and u launched dev menu in rom sletec and go to import and import savedatafiller.cia. this wil install it
and u have will SVE EFL icon in ur homescreen.

if ur want to extract save data u nid to have rom selected in caret slot then u open save data after and exporet ur save data

I am confused. I am trying to get sdf to work on CFW so I can import GW save back to 3ds game cart... I can use gateway in CFW? I am lost on this

The CFW won't be able to read Majora's Mask cart's save data because it uses a newer encryption.

Nope. Not for games using the newer save encryption (most games requiring firmware 6.x or higher) since the CFW won't support them and Gateway's classic mode can't run unsigned installed apps..
