I used task manager to review preformance while running Botw, and every time I run it, my cpu hovers around 90% but my gpu and ram are about 50%. This was not a problem for me until versions after v1.14.0

I'd say if you had better performance with the previous version, roll back to it. Emulators, by nature are CPU-intensive. Perhaps due to something they changed, happened to negate something with your particular setup and hopefully it will be fixed in the future.

You could also try messing around with the graphics settings. Maybe something that wasn't there before is now on by default.

A few things have changed I run 1.15.1e , 1.15.2d Has improvements but has broke other things for me atleast and does seem to be heavier on System Load.

Does CEMU like the clock of the cores in the cpu to be high like VirtualMachines do or does it just benefit from the sheer amount of cores like gaming does?

Like, if I could choose between a CPU clocked at 3.8ghz with 6 cores OR a cpu clocked at 3.6ghz with 8cores, which one should I get?

You would want to get a cpu clocked at 3.8ghz with 6 cores, Because the emulator favors less cores
