PS1/2 CD unable to be read?

I think I may be doing something wrong here, so can anyone link me to a correct way to burn CDs?

Currently, I've burned the SNES emu and KH:CoM and both read error.

I'm using Roxia Toast Titanium 5.2.3 on a mac, so yeah. Any help?

I think you have to burn CD game at a 4x speed (although PS1 games I burned work fine at 8x). You have to make sure that your burner supports CD burining at 4x speed.

also, I think I might be forgetting something else...what about patching the game? Is this required? If so, is there a tutorial on how to do so?

Ok, if you're trying to boot them with ESR, forget about it. You need to burn then on a DVD, but you have to rebuild the image first. I don't know how, but there are some tutorials circulating just for ESR. Other than for that, I don't think you need patches.

If you're trying to boot your CDs with SwapMagic 3.6, you need a special CD for that. SwapMagic has a CD and a DVD version. Boot CDs with a CD and DVDs with a DVD. I don't know how to go about SwapMagic 3.8, but I think it boots all.

EDIT: If yo're using Memor32, you don't need to do anything else, AFAIK.
