Homebrew CATSFC Can't Run BS Zelda?

I have a ROM for BS Zelda - The 3rd Quest (English patched), and it seems to refuse to play on either CATSFC emulator I have. I have tried both my libretro .CIA emu installed to my emuNAND and my CATSFC emulator on my DSTWO flashcart, but it boots to a black screen every time. I was wondering if anyone else has had similar issues with this game? It seems to work just fine on the SNES9X emulator on my phone, but I've been too busy to try other emus on my flashcart or 3DS.

I'm pretty sure that's because CATSFC is based on Snes9x 1.43 (faster but less accurate), not 1.53 hence no Satellaview support. Emulation of BS-X games in general is kind of finicky and only bsnes/Higan really have it all down.
