Hacking Case modding a Phat DS

I was wondering if anyone has ever modded a phat ds to fit inside a ds lite casing. I would like to try it, I have a phat but I mainly use my lite. I don't really know what the insides look like but I guess you could fit it inside with some ingenuity. I've never opened a DS before so that is why I am asking. Someone with experience let me know if you think it can be done and how difficult it would be.

I don't think that would be possible because the dimesions of the phat are different but that is a good idea I was thinking about that to but if that were be possible it would make many phat owners happy

You could, but it would involve snapping off pieces, and I don't know if it'll work right.

i figured its too much to feasibly do, just curious if it was possible. i assume the screen connections are different so you couldn't use a lite screen in a phat ds right? you would have to mod the case area where the screen goes, not to mention the internals like was mentioned already.

You could always mod the case and buttons of a DS Phat to look like a DS Lite's, and claim you have a prototype DS Lite..... LOL

But other than that, yeah, I'd say you shouldn't try fitting a DS Phat's insides into a DS Lite's case....

you could but i don't think you could use the DS afterwards...
