Hey guys, I've been using my DS Lite with a M3DS Real for a while, and it's been working great with the Triple loader (awesome). I just got my hands on a Gameboy Micro and was wondering what options there were for the Micro. EZ-Flash IV and M3 Lite seem to stick out from my brief research.

What's the compatibility on these? Will I have to patch anything? Any idea on the battery life (M3 Real doesn't seem too great

)?

Any input would be awesome, thanks!

Well, I'm using M3 Lite and EZ Flash II Power Star.......

Both are exceptional carts, in my opinion, best you can get....
All games needs to be patched for GBA gaming....But there isn't any problems with that, because you use Manager to copy games on carts, so it's almost as painless as drag and drop..

If you have any more, specific questions, ask, and I'll try to answer..

ezflash IV was purchased last year from dealextreme for like 35 or 40$. Buy a 2 gig miniSD and you are all set

Basically, this is your best shot now Drift Monkey..

It's not hard to get, sipping is free, and it is a great cart..
Simply order EZflash IV from DealExtreme..

EDIT: I've searched around, I can't find M3 Perfect anywhere in stock....hmmm, maybe someone will know a respectable site...I'll search a bit more..

M3 miniSD GBA-sized. "High" priced, but worth it.

Hell, my 128mb/16MB EZ-Flash IIPS cart was $100 when I got it... times/prices change

edit: left out brand

BTW, most GBA ROMs work clean (e.g. not patched by the M3 GameManager), but you have to use the old/rare? M3SaveMan and manually create/edit the save *.dat for each ROM... it's easier to patch a group with the main M3 GM.

My 100+ personal fave ROMs run clean except the NES/Famicom Classics (which need an IPS patch to save on all flashcarts).

Well, that is just what I meant when I talked about patching games.....Just use Game Manger..

And I've found M3 Perfect miniSD sized on several places.....But RealHotStuff is the best place to get it..
But Drift Monkey, you should know that this doesn't fit flush in GB Micro....it sticks out about millimeter or something like that..
Only M3 Perfect Lite with GBA casing fits flush..

Wow, that thing is pretty pricey...and unfortunately with the GBM, flushness does matter a bit more...looks like I might be SOL on a M3 Perfect.

I have an EZFlash IV Lite Deluxe. It's meant for a DS Lite, but a little trimming of the plastic and you're set. I got it over the normal EZ4 because it has 32MB of PSRAM instead of 16MB, and also uses microSD (who uses miniSD? seriously). I have a 2GB card in it, with about 70 games on it. I think I still have about 1.3GB free.

...and it's cheaper (but sold out at DX, permanently?)! I would like to use microSDs if possible, as I have some 2gigers laying around right now.

About trimming it though...is there any way to put the hardware into another shell? The M3 Real bundle I got came with a GBA shell...I wonder if that'd work..

No. It is not cheaper. You're looking at the Lite Compact, a piece of trash cartridge in the same vein as M3 Professional and Supercard Rumble. I got mine from here, and got some kind of coupon from Googling around. I doubt it will fit into another manufacturer's shell, and even if it did you'd have to cut out a hole for the microSD.

I see, thanks for the link...what kind of trimming did ya have to do to get it to fit? This is definitely what I'm going to be looking at if I end up SOL on a M3 Perfect Lite.

Does anyone know any site with EZ Flash IV Deluxe on sale?
Every site i know of is all out of stock.

They pretty expensive, i mean the price is in 59$ in Euro. Plus the shipping is probably not free.
Oh well... I wonder why there out of stock everywhere.
