Nope! I’ve been contacted by no less than five different ‘groups’, but not a single one has answered my request that they either come on IRC or tell me the forums/chat they are using so I can chat with them and give them the info they want.

I can only assume that the groups are falling apart as fast as my bike does (P.S. very fast).

When a group with enough individuals with determination and knowledge arrive, it will get started I guess!

Get info from Lucalink. We have a forum section set up at our translators website, so if you want to get in contact with him then ask him about it. We have about four people on board if I'm correct (translator, Italian qc, and a hacker). I'm a hacker and the English qc, but since you seem to have better wii hacking skills then I do we could really use you on board.

I sent messages to Toni, Jimmy, and Tempus more or less at the same time o.o
Also i came (but only once) on the irc channel, for a whole afternoon, but i was able to speak only with a guy named Aaron if i remember correctly.
To say the truth, i was thinking you had no intentions to work with us because we're italian, if it's all a big mistake then i'm glad ^^

Edit - i have realized now, when it's afternoon for me, it' s morning for you in america. Fail XD We really need the forum.

I’m normally on there a lot. I’m on there now. Even when I’m not on there, I’m usually on there logging. I’m surprised I completely missed you.

Also, Italy is a nice place. And I am Canadian, not American.

Tempus,so are you interested in translating Captain Rainbow?

P.S A big THANKS is not enough for what you have done for us with the FF4 translation patch!:-)

John - Did anyone call you a girl? I am confused as to where that came from. I think Misaki is cutest.

Panmusic - No, I’m not translating Captain Rainbow. LucasLink and his friends are translating it into Italian. As I have said before, the game is full of jokes and a good chunk of them go over my head. I am helping with the hacking side of their translation project.

We're doing English at the same time we decided. If anyone can afford it, they should make a dropbox account for us to work from.

Thanks for your reply Tempus!
I hope that you will not forget English language so the rest of the world can enjoy the game too!

. As I mentioned in many places elsewhere, this game is easy as pie to hack. Simple formats, no encryption, no compression, comes with an ASCII font set (which I’ll probably change). All formats are well known Nintendo formats from Brawl/NSMBWii/other Ninty games. It’s really just a matter of determining the format of the .bins (which is reasonably simple at first glance) and writing some tools to handle everything.

And maybe a hack to increase the message box size.

Also, even bad and easy hacks count as hacks.

Is there a team with a webpage working on this?

I made some pretty good progress on decoding the .bin's ages ago when the game was new. I dont have the code, but as Brawl+ work is winding down, I'd love to work on a new project.

Also I have webspace to set up a wiki, etc.

Hi Dantarion. There is an italian team working on this, but I don’t have access to their private forum yet. If you hang out on IRC, stop by the IRC channel and share what you’ve got. #CaptainRainbow on irc.freenode.net

I’d love to see what you’ve got and have a chat about things in general.

I'll send you a link to the forum. Make an account (with your gbatemp username to halt some headaches) and when you do pm me and I'll let our admin know so you can start posting.

I'm sorry, Seles didn't shown up yesterday :/ As soon as i see her she'll activate your account.
Dantarion, you're welcome too ^^ We have a webpage but there is nothing of Captain Rainbow right now, i usually announce a new project when the first translations at least are made. I plan to set up an english version too when this time comes. Sending mp

I think it is;
for GiFTPiA, the italian website has a poll up, and a video was posted on YouTube.

for Captain Rainbow, they have a progress percentage thing at the website too.

Here's the website
http://kirameki.altervista.org/
just click a game in the left sidebar! and the GiFTPiA poll is somewhere too
