Ok the thing is that i can't use any SD card on my switch, he FW is 5.1 now, it asks for update to use SD card (got 2 128 gb cards atm, one is brand new). So if i update i will get 6.2 fw that means RIP CFW. If i try to start atmoshpere, it not help much too, cause it gives me an error FatFS Error: NOFAT, failed to mount SD card, FatFS error 13. What shall i do now? Any solution? Thank you in advance! :)

it's the exfat update.. not the 6.2...
do it, you still remain in 5.1

To be sure you can even boot in recovery mode , it'll delete the update file in the Switch. Then, put the SD, do the exFat update.

wtf, don't listen to him.

Don't update online or when the system prompts you to.

Updating online will not only install the exFAT update, but also the latest system update.
Use ChoidujourNX and grab the 5.1 - 6.1 update files (whichever one you want) and update using ChoidujourNX. It'll have a checkbox to select wich update (exFAT, non-exFAT) you want to install.

Last time I checked, that will connect to the Nintendo servers and download the update. It will also download the latest system update.

just go offline, boot in recovery mode. The simple fact of booting in this recovery mode delete the update file.
Now, put the big SD, to the update (in offline) -> it's the exFat update, and you be able to use BIG SD on Switch 5.01.

But it always updates online when doing the exfat update. The exFat update also needs to be downloaded from Nintendo.

I have the same problem but I'm already in 6.1.0. So if I even update with ChoidujourNX, there is no way to avoid 6.2.0??

exFat gets corrupted by homebrew. Is Fat32 for 128GB microsd card better solution?
Can we use nspsplitter for larger games?

that's the purpose of nspsplitter, isn't it?

I'd recommend sticking to FAT32 as it does seem to be less prone to corruption because of the 2 File Allocation Tables it has, whereas exFAT only has one. You can use network or USB to install larger nsp files and - I presume - nspsplitter.

Yes, thank you. So if i format new 128gb sdxc to fat32 Switch will not ask for update?
correct. The switch will only ask for the exFAT update when using an exFAT formated SD card. When you insert a FAT32 formated one, there will be no update prompt.

I recently buy hackable switch. Original was 4.1.0, then i update to 6.1.0 (i need to create nintendo account to get one free game).
Now my switch is on 6.1.0 offline waiting for mailman and microsd card, dongle...
