I'm on OFW 6.1, when I insert my new mSD i can't use it if I don't update to 6.2, I know that I can format FAT32 to make it work, but I would like to use exFAT32.

How can I do it?

I would like to make an SD emunand, is better with Exfat32 or Fat32?
If you use the hidden partition emuNAND, then emuNAND itself isn't affected by the partition type you use. If you use the other method that puts the emuNAND files on the SD card file system, definitely go with FAT32 as that feature in particular is very vulnerable to corruption. But either way, sooner or later your SD card might corrupt, it's not really worth it when FAT32 works just fine.

I've had exactly zero issues with exfat. OP just needs to install the exfat update with choi

Don't use exFAT, there are issues with corruption.
most people are using exfat on 64GB or bigger and never had any problems when playing xci or nsp, unless you are talking about cheat searching or specific homebrew that can cause corruptions on exfat

exfat problems are highly exaggerated

I have installed multiple switchs with 64 gb sd and exfat and never found a problem
His choice. If he has a legit sd card and exits homebru not with the home button but from in the app he shouldn't have any issues.

that's exactly the point. the moment you throw in either homebrew or emunand, corruption chances skyrocket.
and 'you' not having had problems with it so far (likely be cause you used neither homebrew or emunand) does not change that reality.
knowing that you shouldn't exit homebrew with homebutton is nice and dandy, but a) people usually don't know that before it happened, b) it's usually just a matter of time till someone goofs that up even if they know and c) it doesnt prevent crashes.

'his choice' is a shitty way to go about this when it's pretty clear he doesn't know what the issue is.

but, as i got my switch with firmware 5.1 and as i put in a 128GB SD, the switch doesnt accept it until i downloaded the exfat driver and did format the SD.
All from inside the Switch.
So, if i format a 128GB or 256GB SD, does the switch OFW accept this and does it also work with SXOS and what's the best way to format such a big SD with FAT32 from a windows10 PC.
