Hi All

I recently bought a white Wii U from gumtree, It came with a few games and seemed like a pretty good deal.

Anyway, I went to update it yesterday and it would not install the latest hardware update - I am getting Error Code 162-3006 every time I try to update it.

On a quick Google of this code it seems to be an issue with Modded Wii's. It has the homebrew channel installed on the vWii, And as one of the games is Lego Batman I am guessing that was how it it was modded. USB Loader GX does not seem to detect my hard drive - Even though I have tried follow the guide for installing cios on vwii. Is there any kind of diagnostics I can run to find out what has been previously done on this Wii? Is vWii being modded incorrectly likely to be the cause of this error code?

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Any idea what is causing this? What am I missing to get everything working again?

Well I did post what was needed like a month ago :)

SysChecks are always needed if possible so we can determine what's wrong or missing. As you see there's well over 30+ IOS on the console, and it's impossible to guess which one is missing or wrong.

Your 37 is the wrong version, and is a Wii IOS. Check your PM.

Install the correct 37 with YAWMM or a WAD manager of your choice using 249, 250, or 251.

Then attempt to update.
