Hacking CAN'T OPEN TTDS FILE

When I put my R4 in my DS now it says COULDN'T FIND_DS_MENU.DAT. Now when I put it back in the computer to see what's wrong it only shows a ttds file that has a size of 0. I cannot find any program to open that file. I can't even delete the file so I can reformat the card. Can anyone help please?
