Any reason why you want to use wimms tools? It sounds like you have the ISO files for your Wii games. Just use Wii Backup Manager and set everything up the way Cyan had told you to and it should copy everything over to your USB drive exactly how it is supposed to be. Just seems easier in my opinion.

It probably is, but I prefer to use terminal on my linux box. much faster machine. quad core 8gb ram vs windows box dual core 4 gb ram.

make a syscheck using hacksden edition and use it with modmii to make sure

The problem is solved. I didn't listen to Cyan and renamed without the game id.
