Can't get RetroArch Nestopia to work

Why are you "stuck"? What happens when you try it?

It would probably be much easier just to download the standalone port of Nestopia for the 3DS and run your ROMs that way.

I tried and they don't work. virtuanes gives sound but no picture.

In that video I linked to, I have no idea what that guy is talking about with the bios rom files. Also, he said move everything from the retroarch folder which was 651mb, that's a pretty big folder to put into my 3DS SD card.

So, you didn't follow the video, and now it's not working, and you're surprised..? 651 MB is smaller than your NAND backup.

If you don't want to copy such a large folder, then like I said, use a standalone port.

I did follow the video. I got it to work, even though in the video it didn't say which bios was the NES one that was in that 651mb folder. It was named disksys.rom. I had to look that up online.

If you have old 3ds you should really use this instead https://github.com/bubble2k16/emus3ds

Won't hurt if you have new3ds as well

I did follow the video. I got it to work, even though in the video it didn't say which bios was the NES one that was in that 651mb folder. It was named disksys.rom. I had to look that up online.

disksys.rom is bios for FDS addon, not a major thing if you only want to play cartridge based games

The one I was using was virtua 1.02. The 2.0 version is working. Thanks. Should I get rid of all the other stuff related to retroarch?

Where do you guys find these forks? This isn't the first time I was using an outdated software, and someone pointed me to a fork that fixed everything. The 1.02v was released on Mar 20, 2018. The 2.0 fork was Sep 18, 2019.
