Homebrew Can't get into HBC, fowarder channels or games... plz help!!!

I have a Black Wii 4.3e (Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Oi! Oi! Oi!) with HBC and USB Loader GX and a few emulators. Everything has been working fine for the last 6 months (48 games on my 320GB HDD working perfectly in USB Loader GX), until today I caught my 7 year old playing around with MMM! I immediately pounced on the console turning it off fearing he may have caused some damage to the Wii.

Unfortunately, my worst fears have been realised... games do not launch from the disc channel (just goes to black screen and wiimote turns off), Homebrew channel does not load (just goes to black screen and wiimote turns off), and launcher channels do not load (just goes to black screen and wiimote turns off...again!).

Without HBC being able to load, I am unable to load any homebrew apps to see what exactly has happened to my Wii. I suspect a deleted IOS but I have no way to restore it :-(

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling HBC using Letterbomb, but it doesn't make a difference. I cannot access Hackmii either as it is installed as an IOS and I do not have Priiloader installed either.

I have spent the last 3 hours on google trying to find a solution to my problem, but I haven't even got close to an answer.

Does anyone have a solution to my problem?

EDIT: The black screen problem I am facing can only be turned off by hard resetting (hold power button down until it turns red) the Wii console.
