Gaming Can't delete a file

I was trying some mods for Diablo II LoD early today, so I made a backup copy of the D2_Patch.mpq file, which was one of the files I was messing with. After some testing, I decided to unistall the game, as no mod really caught my attention. The thing is, I can't delete neither the D2 folder nor the backup file in my desktop. I tried booting in safe mode, but I still can't remove those files. Any idea on what I could do?

Thanks. The link is broken, but I was able to find the program and delete those files ^^
