Hello everyone, This is my first post on GBAtemp, so if there is anything I could improve about my thread, please let me know. I'm having an issue with my Old 3DS where Homebrew now takes over a minute to load, they used to load in about 3–5 seconds. In addition, System Settings and all of my DS Roms/Twilight Menu++ no longer load at all (unless they somehow take more than 20 minutes). I might be wrong but, I don't think this is an SD card issue. I tested both my new 128 GB SD card and my old 8 GB SD card, and the problem is exactly the same on both. System Settings also fails to load even when I remove the SD card completely. I'll try to provide as much information as possible, even if some of it ends up not being relevant. So My new SanDisk 128 GB SD card arrived, so I formatted it from exFAT to FAT32 using a formatting tool. After that, I made a backup of my old SD card on my computer and copied all of the files to the new SD card. When I inserted the new SD card into my 3DS, I immediately noticed that Homebrew took much longer to load, and System Settings, TWiLight Menu++, and my DS ROMs would no longer start. At first I assumed I had made a mistake while Formattimg the new SD card. However, when I switched back to my original SD card, the exact same problem remained. I also tested booting without an SD card, and System Settings still would not load. I found another thread on GBAtemp describing a very similar issue. Following the advice there, I previously used the NVRAM/CRC16 repair, which completely fixed the problem For the Thread Creator. However, when i tried the same,Homebrew became so slow that,the NVRAM tool can not finish loading, or maybe its something else but thats what I assume. At this point I'm not sure whether the long loading times and the System Settings issue are related, but I'm out of ideas. Since its been very long with modding my 3ds Thank you very much to anyone who takes the time to read this. Hi everyone! I have ported snesrev's ALTTP C reimplementation (or rather the updated fork from xander-haj called Z3R) to the 3ds. It's probably more accurate to say that I have updated an existing outdated port from wikiblog0/JeffRuLz, but regardless, its now possible to play ALTTP natively on 3ds. The port runs fine on n3ds and is untested on o3ds, however runs quite poorly with n3ds features disabled so I'd say its unlikely to perform well - though if SDL2 gets hardware rendering support that may change in a future update. Screenshots: (Only top screen is utilised at the moment) Install: qr for cia file - hosted on github releases Either install the cia file with fbi (qr above) or download the 3dsx file from releases and put in the 3ds/zelda3 directory on your 3ds. Then you need a zelda3_assets.dat file placed in the 3ds/zelda3 directory on your 3ds, along with a zelda.ini file in the same directory. zelda3_assets.dat can be extracted from a rom of the game as described in the readme of the github repo. I saw CrystalLinks post about swapping animations on Project Pokemon, and based on others projects, it seems to work. I would like to do this too, but I can't decompress any of the .bin files with pk3ds. It says it decompressed the files, but nothing ever changes. I want to add the animations from Olivia (027.bin) to Lillie (regular version, 002.bin) but I can't get into the files. Not sure if anyone could give me some advice, or try the edits for themselves and link the files, but any help is appreciated.
