Hacking Can't Connect to Wi-Fi while playing ROMS? :s

Hello, so my router is using wep security, and connect to the browser and DSi just fine. But with ROMS such as Phantasy Star Zero, I can't seem to find any other players to connect with! But If I enter a friends FC, I can connect with them and play... any help?

Also, I know that there is an Action Replay cheat for Spirit Tracks, which allows you to use the D-Pad and face buttons instead of the stylus. But when I go to the cheats section, its not there :/ is there anyway I can input it manually? :]

Phantasy Star Zero has known problems. It's an anti-piracy thing, gotta patch it. Can only play online with those who have the same game version(bahamut/the other one...) and patch.

With some games, when you trim a ROM, it will prevent the Wi-Fi capabilities from working. Are you sure that isn't the case with Spirit Tracks?
