Hardware Cant conenct psp

I have trouble connecting my PSP to my PC. I got an ''3 in1?'' cable. it has an normal USB slot, a slot for the PSP, and anotehr smaller slot. When plugging the PSP in, it says ''Hardware not Recognized'' But it does charge through it. (I also tried disabling charge though USB

Try using a Normal USB cable, I have had nothing but issues with the multi in one cables

I think it's meant for charging, not connecting.
