Hi; everytime I try to boot into CFW from Hekate, my Switch stops working unless I hold the power button for 10-15 seconds. How can I boot into CFW?

Atmos and sigs updated?
I’ve literally just gone through the process of modding my Switch tonight, so in all honesty I’m not sure. I was also having trouble with the final step to dumping the Switch NAND or whatever, before lockpick told me the “fat partition” was missing.

Then follow a proper guide as such

Minimum 64GB
I’ll have to buy a new card then; besides that though, why do I get a fat partition error on Lockpick? I have the card formatted to exFAT and I have everything else dumped through Hekate, but Lockpick won’t dump the last thing I need.

Needs to be fat32 and why use lockpick?

This still doesn’t explain why I can’t boot into CFW though; is it because the card is formatted to
if your stock firmware has never had the exfat driver update installed (it prompts you to do this with an exfat card inserted)

When you make emunand it won't boot because the emunand won't have the driver

more then likely why but some SD cards don't like to work with the Switch (only found like 2 that did not work with a 3ds) what kind of SD card are you using?

Yeah, I just reformated the card back to FAT32 and I still can't boot into CFW. I click CFW (sysMMC) and the screen goes black, shows the Hekate boot screen, and the RCM disconnects from my PC. God, this is so frustrating.

Okay, quick recap just because I really want to try getting it fixed: I'm using an early model Switch (it was bought around April of 2017) with a SanDisk Ultra 32GB Card. I went through the process with this guide (https://switch.homebrew.guide/index.html) and everything was fine up until I tried to dump my BIS keys. It told me the FAT partition was missing. I tried booting into CFW, and it would just look like Hekate was rebooting, but then I heard the device disconnect sound on my PC, and the Switch would boot into what I assume was Auto-RCM, but it wouldn't actually do anything unless I turned it off (holding power for 10 seconds.) The Switch seemingly works fine when it's booted normally. Can anyone help me?
