Hacking Can't access SysNand

So, I've tried updating my games in my modded 3ds but I'm getting an error while trying to connect to NNID. It looks like I have to connect through SysNand before trying to connect in EMuNand so I tried to run rxTools to boot in SYsNand mode. But when I press the x button (that should get me to sysnand mode) it simply reboots the menuhax. Am I doing something wrong?

Did you set it up to auto boot menuhax? If so jus thold whatever button you need to cancel menuhax to boot into it.

And did you format to set up a cfw? If so, the NNID is still linked to the sysnand

Oh okay, i feel dumb now, I've read about this "safe key" thing before.
The thing is it's not me who formatted and installed those things in my ds, so I don't know for sure
