Hello, so I tried to update my console but there is an error message saying "An Error Has Occurred. Unable to Update" then it reboots. What to do ?

Console : O3DS
Firmware : 11.0.0-33E
A9LH : v1
Luma3ds : 6.5

Does the error happen immediately and does the progress bar change at all? Many people with this problem have been able to work around it by retrying the update until the progress bar is full.
In my case the error happened immediately. I was using emuNAND so I had to make a new emuNAND and transfer my data over to it with GodMode9.
You could try what @Exavold suggested, though it's not really a solution. If you do that, make sure you use sysUpdater. Last time I tried to update my emuNAND with FBI, it bricked.

Umm yes the bar changes, the error appears after like 10 seconds. I'm using sysnand by the way, and updating through system settings
I wonder what's the problem. I've tempered with my nnidsave (and stuff like that) and my home menu, perhaps that's the problem

edit: the progress bar resets to the same position each time I reboot...

Just keep trying until it completes then. The next update shouldn't have this problem.

I have edited my post because I noticed the progress bar resets to 8% after reboot

I can't even delete the update cache because luma prevents me to access it, it try to launch emunand when pressing L/R :glare:
and since I don't have any, my console freeze

Thanks, now the last question, where do I find an update pack ? :D Can't find anything on that iso site with my keywords
Download it yourself with 3DNUS. Fill in the fields like this, replacing USA with EUR or JPN depending on your region and choosing the correct 3DS model.

Click the button, wait for it to complete, then rename the 11.2.0-35 folder to updates and place it on your SD card.

Ok I'll do, thank you :)
I had a very similar issue to this after installing a9lh on my n3dsxl, it just would not connect to the internet to update and it was on the same firmware as you even though the blue bars on the main menu said it was connected. My work around eventually after a lot of hair loss and worrying was to patch in all your router settings manually from your wifi, don't connect auto method, just type in all your wifi settings in manually, IP Address, Gateway Address's etc.. and double check they are correct for your 3ds else it wont connect. That was the only way I could update in the end, give this ago see how you get on it worked for me.

Well, my console is connected to internet, as I can receive spotpass news and stuff like that, and the connection test succeed

If you made changes to home menu (custom changes) or use custom fonts, you will error on system update.

This has been spoken many times in many threads (sorry but won't searche them for you)
