you could tri triiforce for loading channel .... maybe it work it's a channel loader

Thanks I'll try that. But what actually loads a channel anyway? I mean what would prevent a channel from loading?

Does IOS30 just not load custom channels or something?

What would happen is I switched the system menu to 36?

it will work like ios 249 and ios 30, if they patch with es verify let's give a try maybe it solve your problem ... if it doesn't load just change it back in preloader

Tried it. Didn't hurt. But it didn't actually fix anything either.

What is ES verify actually? And what does it do?

I'm trying to figure out what allows custom channels to work in the first place so I can figure out why mine might not be working.

Went back and tried IOS 249, 222, 202... (I'm really starting to LOVE preloader... I wish you could switch that fast on PSP!), none of them helped.

38 is the only one that gave me any trouble.

Then, like you said, all I had to do was restart and switch it back in preloader.

Quick question:

With these messages I get from Nintendo for installing Wii shop Channel or Nintendo channel or whatever... would something horrible happen if I clicked the update button? Would they just try to update my firmware or something?

You are missing some IOS most likely.

To make it easier for people to help you I suggest you run title lister from HBC and paste a list of your installed IOS.

It may also be damaged IOS, but first we should check what you actually have installed on the Wii.

Wow... JUST before you posted that I came across this link: http://www.wiihacks.com/tutorial-archives/...i-update-2.html

People were running the IOS51/Shop Channel installer... and guess what would happen?

IT RESET THEIR WII! They were running 3.2 just like me. (I'd done a google search for "Wii shop channel 3.2U")

At the end of that page there the guy explains that the reason their Wiis were resetting is because the latest shop channel ran off of patched IOS61. So I just used DOP-IOS mod and installed a patched IOS61... and it worked!

So I definitely think that's what's going on.

I'll run Title Lister in a sec and post the results, and you can tell me what other IOS I'm missing.

I think this case is finally close to being closed!

YOU, sir, are the genius I've been waiting for!

ran title lister, but it froze up around 49 and didn't save any results.

Maybe there's a new version somewhere?

Which IOS do custom channels and the virtual console use?

It differs per channel.

Get ShowMiiWads and it will tell you the required IOS per channel. Also it's a fooooooking great app with lots of other features and many more to come

YOU, sir, win the prize!

I was missing IOS 35 (for the custom channels) and IOS33 (for the Virtual console games.)

Now everything works PERFECTLY!

I can't thank you enough!

Showmii really is an AWESOME program.

PROBLEM SOLVED!
