that's one reason I've been downloading the games I own off the internet. I have all games, most updates (not sure what's the latest for the games), and most of the dlc or what's available anyway. I'd back up my own, but I'm afraid that that might leave a trail for Nintendo, causing a ban.

streaming and digital only are probably going to happen eventually, just to cut costs. I don't mind really, as long as I can always access the content.

Sure, I understand. I do want to say that expecting or hoping that companies will let you access content indefinitely may set you up for disappointment. Just recently, Sony was in the news trying to get rid of some titles for Vitas I believe.

Well, more problems ahead. I installed the fake pkg in my console and I get a NP-32046-5 error and I cannot start the game. Apparently this is related to encrypted trophies but again, I am stuck.

I think I read a post about transferring over the trophies manually from your dump. I've never personally had this issue. I did install the last of us 2 as well, and I encountered no errors. I was able to start the game as I test all backports.

I think trophies are in the sce_sys folder. try transferring them to the trophy folder in the user folder. you'll have to have the trophy name, I think. I don't recall how to get that though. it might be in the trophy file by using a hex editor.

nm, it's not. maybe it's in the eboot.

Of course I have no trophies because I just installed the game from disc.

But I found this:

Install disc to internal
You will need to use FTP on the exploit page, leave it open
Open Filezilla put in your PS4s IP, and port is 1337
Go to /user/trophy/conf/ the trophies look like NPWR with some numbers, they wont match your dumps CUSA. What I did was just sort by date on filezilla, and copy the latest one over.
You should see TROPHY.TRP in all caps, rename to trophy00.trp and in your dump copy it to CUSAxxxxx-app/sce_sys/trophy/ and overwrite the trophy00.trp that's already there
Convert your dump to PKG again, making sure you get a new .gp4 then convert .gp4 with Fake PKG Generator
You should now be able to install the PKG successfully

So I am trying to do this now...I have to wait again for the conversion etc... and it may not work....

let us know if it works. it was the process I was thinking of, but I had it in reverse. I've heard of this happening to a few people with certain games. don't know what's causing it.

As expected, it did not work. Now the error is NP-32048-7. Apparently this is a trophy syncing issue.

Yes, it is related to the trophies. It's strange because other who have dumped this particular title did not have this issue.

I will try the whole thing from the beginning but I have run of ideas and solutions here.

if the problem is the trophy file, get the one installed in the console, That one is decripted. Place that one in your backup.

guys, need to know a hash from the file 'keystone' on this game...
Also i have seen that some releases have a nother file with the name 'keyst0ne'. Is this file original from the game... or ... ?

^^ it is not a backup because it has a different hashing... so come on friends.. give me your hashes from that file, on that game... CUSA10249

edit: why i need the hashes ? to determine the original keystone file for this game.

I am trying to access the debug menu in TLOU2 that was recently discovered and this requires a jailbreakable console. I purchased one only so I can get the opportunity to play around with the camera especially during cutscenes.

I manage to jailbreak although it takes a while and I get a lot of memory errors. Once in and able to activate the dump payload I do not see a message that my CUSA disc starts dumping to the flash drive. The message shows that the percentage jumps to 91% and I get the following message repeated every minute:

Waiting for application to copy
91% complete...

Yet it gets stuck here and doesn't move. If I remove the flash drive and check it on my computer there are no files there, nothing seems to have copied and the only file present is dumper.cfg. For whatever reason the dumper is...uh..not dumping at least not the the USB drive.

On Modded Warfare's tutorial video on YT titled (EP) 6 RUN PS4 Disc Games without the Disc Retail to fpkg (7.55 or Lower!) he addresses the issue at the 8:37 timestamp. I managed to get into the console files, deleted the file he suggests but then I cannot start the game. If I reboot the console the game starts, but my guess is that that file is back. So this solution didn't work for me.

My USB drive is 128GB formatted in exFAT. I have the game installed from my own personal copy and the play disc is inserted when I attempt the dump and the game is running at the main menu. Firmware version is 7.55.

I am a total beginner at jailbreaking and I only did it so I can access the debug menu. If you would have asked me about jailbreaking three weeks ago I I wouldn't have known anything. I would greatly appreciate any expertise from any of you - this would mean so much to me.

Thank you.

Let me solve this one for you, some games have additional language files that need to install themselves to the hdd.

So here is what you need to do.

Once the game has finish dumping, change the system language and then start the game

Its best to have the update prompt, as this prevents the game from starting every time with each system language and then you have to close app.

If you have the update prompt, then when you go to start the game under a different system language you will get caught by the update prompt

Simply cancel and back out to the main menu and repeat with every system language until you come across one that needs to install its files.

Usually, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Russian are the main ones but go through every language as some games utilize others. Once you do this the game should start to copy.

Hope this help the majority of people on here.

On a side note I will personally try the rename bdcopy method for Ghost of Tsushima

This game actually begins to copy but never finishes ripping, any advice on this end would be appreciated.
