you have to link to your facebook account , problem is if you create a new account facebook will want to verify the account with a phone number if that email account you use is new as well

The last time something like this happened they only banned people who took over 10,000 points.
(That mess up was 180 mspoints at a time though, so you would have to have taken at least 3x codes)

The time it was only 180 MSPoints at a time, but much easier to get them, you simply changed some characters in a url and got a brand new code.

I think that one was 160 MSP at a time. I don't remember any bans though. There was a limit on the amount of points you could redeem I believe.
