Depends on the definition though.

If by "live" you mean literally, then yes I definitely can live without it.

If by "live" you mean "develop withdrawal symptoms/ experience immense discomfort/ hamper the experience of using the computer", then still yes, I definitely can live without it.

C'mon there are plenty of things to do outside

What the fuck is this shit?

Yes, yes I can.

Living does not require any computer service at all....COME ON
Surviving does not require it. Living Being spoiled does, at least for a computer geek.

....Fix'd.
That is just it. We are spoiled in a way that the loss of connectivity would severely impact our quality of life.

While anyone could use another search engine, other video hosts just do not match Youtube. So google is necessary. And do not knock Android.

How exactly? In terms of the quality of video? Blip.tv does HD. In terms of the terrible community? That isn't exactly a bad thing.

There are dozens of search engines out there, Google isn't the only one. They all do a similar job and bring up similar, if not the same, results. Google going would not mean we wouldn't be able to find our way around the Internet.

Physically, of course. If Google was suddenly removed from the equation it could be difficult to grow accustomed to the change, but if it were never there, we'd obviously not notice, so it wouldn't matter.

Not originally. Maybe they'd still be around...
As for Android, maybe not as popular if it weren't for Google either.

What about if you're hooked up to a medical machine that requires some computer control?

In terms of content. Youtube is the most established service, so it has the greatest community of uploaders, so it has the best selection of stuff to actually watch. Plus, the interface is the least annoying one, though it was better before they updated the profile pages. Is there any way to get to a view that has both detail and playlist features from a channel these days?
