can you go online with .cia + plugin?

apologies in advance, i know this is a commonly asked question but i couldn’t find anything for my specific question.

I have the .cia for new leaf and a plugin for cheats, is it safe to go online as long as i disable the plugin? i’m assuming it’s ok to go online with a .cia game based on everything i’ve read but correct me if i’m wrong

The 3ds is already death, You can play any game online if you installed it as a cia, I am not sure about the plugin, but I play Monster hunter xx with generations ultimate plugin, and nothing happened at this moment

Use this plugin all you want as long as you don't use it to cheat. Nintendo doesn't give much of a crap about 3DS online stuff now anyways...

the plugin IS for cheats though, i use it to get bells/other in game currency and items i need lol, is it still fine?

bells? is that animal crossing? if it's a nintendo made game, I'd say extreme risk.

In fact I go online with hacked Pokémon, and no issues. Even if you did get caught, Nintendo doesn't ban 3DS users anymore, the worst that could happen is suspension, which is only temporary.

try using a fraudulent credit card. or do a chargeback of a purchase. You will see nintendo quickly ban you for it.

I can't speak from experience, but I'd just say, "be careful."

If you are worried, why not make an emunand? If you got banned there would always be a place to come back to.

if you're banned on the sysnand, you would be on the emunand as well or you should be anyway. you can just unban yourself though.
