Can you access YouTube right now?

i don't know if the site is down or my school blocked it.. the site comes up but the videos don't work.. is anyone else having this problem as well?

Youtube has been slow as hell all week for me. I've had to leave files to load before playing because they download so slowly.

As far as I know you don't block things with a firewall. You block things either using a proxy server or some filtering application like DansGuardian.
Maybe I'm wrong?
