ROM Hack can using pokesav mess up your game?

I have a simple question can using pokesav on my pokemon black mess up the save for it?

can mess up a save game in someway
so
always have a back-up of your save BEFORE you use a save game editor

it should be ok
but it may mess some things up, if you edit the wrong thing

Well, I've been using it for quite some time and my save file is still ok. If you're asking from that point of view then yes, it won't screw up your game.

So far, the ones I'm using for HG/SS and B/W haven't caused me any grief. I mean you can do all kinds of stuff with them. That's how I got my Victini and Zorua/Zoroark. I love them to death. I'm on my way to my 6th gym now. I'm a master pokemon trainer.

Mainly, I use it to get the event pokemon and such also to customize my boxes as well. Nothing too heavy duty.
