Hi,

I wanted to know if sysnand can update safely to 8.0 and keep booting on emuNand 7.0.1 ?
If I update to sysNand 8.0, my backup of sysNand 7.0.1 became useless ? I have to do another one ?

I also wanted to know something, emuNand keep 30GB on uSD, can we use that space to install nsps ?
Is it safe ?

Thanks you

Yes, SysNAND can be updated to 8.0.0.
You can still use your EmuNAND.
Yes, you can use that space to install apps to it. That's the EmuNAND system storage.

Ok thanks you for fast answer.
I heard that NSP were less safe than XCI is it true ?
Thanks ;) !

But on my emuNand, if it's on airplane mode, what's make XCI safer than NSP, just because they are on SDCARD?
Thanks ;)

XCI's are only "safe" if they're legitimate backups from your own cartridges. If you downloaded the XCI from the internet then it's essentially the same as installing an NSP.
