get hex editor, change stuff randomly in middle of file
profit?
or there is a checksum that prevents from loading a curropted file?

Happens somewhat randomly in certain escape sequences. I had it happen to me the first time I played.

That's a workaround, not a fix. It backs up your saves but doesn't stop the corruption happening.

I heard that the eshop version of the game has been changed to prevent saving in the broken parts. I have a cartridge so I'll see if I can trigger the bug.

That was never true. I have the eShop version, and it still happened.

Yeah, I hear it a lot but I can say for sure the eShop version wasn't fixed :')
