Hacking Can Reinx become permanent?

I heard reinx wasnt permanent but want to know if it is true. if not can i boot my switch propley without injecting the payload?

a cold boot (in layman terms) is basicly a way to apply changes to Firmware while the device powers on without the need of any external input (such as the dongle/button presses).
There as of now is now public known way to archive such a cold boot on the switch but once one is know all currentc cfw are likely to be able to make use of it.

thats no safe anbd reliable way for the normal user since it requires atleast some soldering knowledge.

There is no untethered coldboot exploit for the Nintendo Switch yet, so for now, you will need to use RCM to launch ReiNX. In other words, you cannot make ReiNX permanent. If you keep your Switch in sleep mode instead of powering it off when you're not using it, you don't have to worry about having to relaunch ReiNX, and it will be like it's permanent.

Untethered coldboot is theoretically possible on 3.0.2 and lower, but it will probably be years, if ever, before we have something like that.

If you don't have AutoRCM installed, then you can still boot your Switch normally without ReiNX, but pirated games won't work without ReiNX.

if you dont inject the payload the switch will boot up normaly, meaning oyu wont be able to use homebrews or pirated games.

You must be in ReiNX for NSP-installed games to be able to be booted.

If you boot ReiNX and then keep your Switch in sleep mode when you're not using it, then your Switch will always be in ReiNX.

Not even nsp games since you don't have valid ticket for it (ticket is basicly a certificat of ownership you get from Nintendo when buying the game in the eshop)
