Hacking Can I update the save file on a original cart?

I have the cable for the old EZF Advance cart which allowed me to dump my own roms and save files from original carts but I was never able to update the save file. Is this even possible? If so, how?

What type of cable does your cart use? If it connects to the GBA link port rather than directly to the cartridge, you can probably use FlashManager to send updated *.sav files to your card (though with EEPROM saves you have to flip the order of every 8 bytes in the save file first). Otherwise, you can create an FCSR compilation for the cart_save program, though this is somewhat complicated.
