Hacking Can I SSH into my Wii?

Hey Guys,

As the subject states, I'm pretty familiar with Linux/UNIX, and wanted to see if I can SSH into my Wii? I have been using FTPii to run as an FTPServer, which gets me by for now....however, I'd prefer to SSH if possible.

Has anyone been able to get SSH working on their Wii?

No one so has made an SSH "server" homebrew, so no one has got SSH working. The wii has plenty of versions of linux "ported" to it, the newest distro ported is this: https://github.com/neagix/wii-linux-ngx You can SSH into that, but booting it etc... will take much longer than just using FTPii.

There's the additional problem of the Wii not having a shell to connect to.
