Um... don't judge me! I have a really old 3DS, and I want to mod it, why? Because I am bored. There has to be a way to run it!

I know, I have a new 3ds running Luma3DS, I am just curious what homebrew exploit runs on there, but that link seems to have my answer.

So basically you need a game cart with the desired update on it. (9.2 would be ideal)

The guide should include HBL launching at that low since one of the downgrades on later firmwares is down to 2.x (I think it's 2.4, but still before Nintendo had to bother really patching these things out).

And because they usually downgrade O3DS down that far, you can probably skip half the guide (anything related to downgrading, basically).
