Hacking Can I get banned for using other's save file?

I have two 3ds consoles right now and planning to use both of them in rotation.
However, the only thing i'm worried about is a save file.
I want to share one console's save file to another and vice versa, but I read an article that says a save file could contain an online ID information so that It could prevent me to play games on online.
I'm wondering if there is any risk playing games online when I use a shared save file, which is not cheated, on both consoles.

It is safe. In such save files are no online informations or whatever. But why do you want to use two consoles?

I’ve never heard of anyone getting banned for using another person’s save. I don’t think the Big N really cares enough about that

Depends. If you borrow someone else's pokemon save with 'mons that have impossible stats and use them in online battles, than yah you get banned.

Only thing I can think of is game like Pokemon that two people are using the same save with game sync on two seperate cart/digital copy with the same data.

Was gonna mention that as well. We know people have gotten banned for cheating in Pokemon (but game specific ban only), if they saw two with the same Game Sync ID they could easily ban them. Also another thing is that you don't know if they put hacked mons in the save. But for any other game it should be perfectly safe.

I actually almost got an user on Gamefaqs ban for attempting to use his save that he allow me to test with on one of my cart lol, lucky I didn't go too far, and avoiding getting him ban.
