Hacking Question Can I get banned for this?

I wanted to test if my switch was patched so I entered RCM and tried to inject hekate, it was successfully injected but the switch didn't execute the payload. Can I be banned for doing this? and if i can be what can I do to not be

Nah they won't ban you for this. It's totally fine to enter RCM mode. I you would be the first person ever to get banned for enter RCM if you did.

You could get banned if you are online with CFW, installed a game/ DLC in sysnand mode.

Best to set up a Emunand or just play in Airplane mode
