can i delete my old switch 6.1.0 backup? i am on 7.0.1 with sx os (and burned fuses?)

If your fuses are burnt, the backup is pretty useless (Except you don't care about booting with custom payload).

If your previous backup was clean (i.e. NAND backup before you ran any CFW), and if you haven't been online since, I'd keep it -- that way, you can always revert back to stock if you want to. With compression, it shouldn't take up more space than a couple of GBs. Be sure to label the backups accordingly

He can't revert back to stock with burned fuses. That's the purpose of the fuses, to prevent you from downgrading. That said, as suggested earlier, OP should make a new NAND backup of his current setup before thinking of deleting the old one. Always, always have at least one NAND backup, even an old one.

You are correct; it seems I didn't read his post thoroughly enough

Even with burned fuses, if he cares about online play and his 6.1.0 backup is "clean," he can still use it to create a "clean" 7.0.1 backup (Restore 6.1.0, use Hekate to boot "Stock", upgrade firmware, make new "Clean" backup).

If it's not a clean backup, then I wouldn't worry about it, just make sure you have a good backup of your 7.0.1.
