Hello!

Before buying a second hand swtich, i have to ask you some questions, the guy who is trying to sell the NSW told me that he cant boot into hekate, his NSW only boot on OFM, the problem here is that he send me pics on hekate mode 2 hours earlier.

Can be the trinket broken?
Can be a sd problem?
Can i go into rcm with a jig on a NSW with a trinket?

Sorry, for my english and thanks for your time!

He has dualboot, idk if that could help.

Let see it his case it could mean that either he doesn't know how to boot into into CFW if he has it setup that way, when it 7 wires you have to press up volume button and power to boot into the uf2 mode you don't need a jig if it 7 wires unless you want to boot into CFW just with one button, in addition it could also mean he mess up the payload on the chip.

In that case, i can just use tegrarcm to send a payload right?

Should be an easy fix, as long you can figure out what going on with the chip, you wouldn't even need tegrasmash rcm. You take a gamble if you want to figure out what going on with the chip

yeah, but idk if is possible launch rcm with the chip inside using a jig in case that he mess up the payload on the chip.

If it doesn't boot with a jug it just mean the payload isn't configure correct because if it not wired correctly it won't even boot into OFW, it is a gamble, I bought one before for $200 because someone didn't know how to use it.

OFW is working, so should be easy to launch Hekate again right?

You could use tegrasmash or any external payload method to launch hekate but that defeat the purpose of the chip, if you buy you should try to fix it.
Tbh i dont mind about the chip, i wanted autorcm so its fine. But i will try, maybe he has sd issues and keep me out of opening the console coz i dont want a brick xD.
