When the game starts it goes through the ads, but when it gets to the loading screen it hangs. I have a 4.2 U softmodded Wii and use USB Loader.

Here is what it said in syscheck:

I usually use IOS 249 and tried using 222 and 223 with the Error 002 fix on. Still nothing.. Please help

A little of topic, but your cIOS are a few generations old. This is not a problem in itself, it just means that you will not be able to benefit from the advancements from the new cIOS. I recommend upgrading your cIOS to Herme's v5.1 and Waninkoko's rev21, both of which have been proven as solid (as can be, lol) updates. You can follow any guide that you like or use a update utility like ModMii. Personally I recommend installing the following cIOS version, base and slot configuration:

Hermes cIOS v5.1:
  • IOS222 with base IOS38
  • IOS223 with base IOS37
  • IOS224 with base IOS57
Wanikoko rev21:
  • IOS249 with base IOS56
  • IOS250 with base IOS57
Concerning your issue running CoD:BO... You should really of searched for the answer as it has been covered numerous times.... tsk tsk!

All you need to do to run CoD:BO is to install a cIOS with base IOS57 and configure your USB loader to run the game with that cIOS. In my recommend cIOS configuration, 224 or 250 would either work fine.

Thanks! I did search but when I saw the results I couldn't find any links to actually get the ISO files, I know pretty stupid. So I decided to ask anyway to make sure, but I found the file and it works now! Thanks, though because your answer was right to begin with.

I'd shy away from flat out recommending the v21d2x WADs to everyone. They are good solution for those who have USB drives which cause the controller lag issue, but they should still considered experimental. I recommend to only use them if you need to...

The USB module edits are still being refined and results still vary. You can follow the progress of the v21d2x project in its own thread if it interests you.

Back to the OP, BobbyxGames, glad to hear it all worked out for you. As for sources of cIOS. Using the official installers is always recommended. WADs can be easier to handle, but make sure they are from a good source and that you know what it actually in them. WADs you create yourself, and those from trusted sources like ModMii are examples of safe sources...well unless you have an evil split personality as far as WADs you create yourself go

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
