Hacking Caanot get usb loader working

When I try to install usbloader gx on my softmoddeed wii, I keep on getting this message "ERROR (ret= -1029). Im trying to install it though my wad manager. Anyone help me with this, I would appreciate it. Thanks Must be a fix for this surely?

why through a wad manager?

just add the file to the apps on the sd card. then if you have the channel that goes on the wad manager.. not the whole file.
sd/apps/ usb loader gx.

I want to add the usb loader to my menu screen rather than have to go through the homebrew channel. Thanks

What you want is a forwarder. There even is official ones in both usbloader gx and CFG usbloader topics.

Try updating to the latest rev and using the newest wad manager.
