Hacking C64 VC injection not working

Howdy everyone, I'm trying to ask something about Commodore 64 VC injection. It didn't work for me at all because every attempt I've tried just freezes on a black screen. I used both versions of International Karate (NTSC & PAL) as the bases for my testing, and made the injections using Custom Frodo. Am I doing something wrong here? What is the solution?
