C tutorial

Sooo.. after sitting on what I think are pretty good game ideas, I decided to finally buckle down and teach myself C. I downloaded visual studio 08 pro and I think thats all I need but correct me if I'm wrong. Also, I need a good set of tutorials to be able to follow so if anyone could make any recommendations that would be great, I would rather not have to spend any money though as I have no job := (

look thru a bunch of scripts and u can get most of the stuff in a jiffy. i took a class in c++, it was interesting, if you know basic programming skills u will learn quick
